About Sarah Brewer (she/her)
I approach my clinical work with warmth, humor, curiosity, and empathy, because I believe that establishing an authentic and meaningful therapeutic relationship is at the core of good therapy. From a foundation of a trusting relationship, I will help you to draw from your strengths and meet your individual therapy goals and improve your relationship with yourself and the people that matter most to you.
I work collaboratively with clients to identify thoughts, emotions, and reactions to stressful experiences in order to gain new perspectives for effectively adapting to changes, challenges, and everything in-between. From a strengths-based, and trauma-informed perspective, you will learn to activate your inner strengths and cope more effectively with life’s challenges.
I enjoy treating a wide variety of presenting concerns, but I am particularly skilled in working with:
Children and young adults
Anger
Anxiety and depression
Feeling off or stuck
Attachment struggles
Career and school
Trauma and stress
Relationship issues and family conflict
Fertility, adoption, and foster care
